Terms of service
These are the terms you agree to when you use Sleqk, whether via sleqk.com, the iOS app, or any other Sleqk surface. They cover your account, your subscription, what you and we can do with the content you upload, and the things we are and are not promising.
We have tried to keep the language human. Where we use legal terms of art, that is usually because they carry meaning a plain word would lose.
1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, opening the app, or using any Sleqk feature, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Sleqk. If you are using Sleqk on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
These terms form a contract between you and Lytis Software Private Limited, the company that operates Sleqk. Lytis Software Private Limited is registered in Belgium (VAT BE 0798.128.569), with its registered office at Rue de Grand-Bigard 14, 1082 Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, Brussels, Belgium. In these terms, “Sleqk”, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Lytis Software Private Limited.
2. Who can use Sleqk
You must be at least 18 years old to use Sleqk and you must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract in your country of residence. Sleqk is currently offered in the United Kingdom and in the European Union; if you are using it from elsewhere, you are doing so on your own initiative and you are responsible for complying with local law.
3. Your account
You register by providing an email address and password, or by signing in with Google or Apple. The information you give us must be accurate. One person, one account — please do not share your login.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. If you believe your account has been accessed by someone else, tell us as soon as possible at support@sleqk.com.
You can close your account at any time from the profile screen. Closing the account deletes your content under the terms set out in our privacy policy.
4. Subscription and payment
Sleqk has a free tier that includes your wardrobe catalogue, one AI try-on render per month, and (coming) a daily outfit suggestion. Sleqk Premium unlocks unlimited try-on renders, the event planner with calendar sync, unlimited share-for-vote links, and priority AI rendering.
Current pricing:
- On sleqk.com, Sleqk Premium is £11.99 per month or £99 per year, billed by Stripe. Prices include VAT where applicable.
- On iOS, once Apple in-app purchase is live, Sleqk Premium will be £13.99 per month or £119 per year, billed by Apple. The difference covers Apple’s commission. Apple’s in-app purchase terms apply in addition to ours for iOS billing.
- New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. We will not charge you during the trial; if you cancel before it ends, you are not charged.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term at the then-current price, unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the profile screen on sleqk.com or, for iOS, via your Apple ID settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current term.
EU / UK right to withdraw. Consumers in the UK and EU normally have 14 days to withdraw from a digital service contract. By starting to use the paid features (for example, by generating your first paid try-on render) you expressly consent to the service beginning and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once the service has been fully performed. Outside that carve-out, you can contact support@sleqk.com within 14 days of purchase for a refund. [LEGAL-REVIEW: confirm exact digital-content withdrawal wording for UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU as amended.]
5. What you can do with Sleqk
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Sleqk for your own personal, non-commercial styling. You may generate, download, and share the AI renders of yourself that Sleqk creates for you on the basis of that licence.
You may not use Sleqk to build a competing product, to reverse-engineer our models or our pipelines, to scrape our API, or to resell renders as a service to third parties.
6. What we need from you
You keep ownership of the photos you upload and of the try-on renders Sleqk generates for you. We do not take that ownership.
So that we can actually run the service, you grant Sleqk a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transmit, process, and display your content only for the purpose of providing the Sleqk service to you. Specifically:
- We use your photos to run AI processing (background removal, garment classification, try-on rendering, phenotype matching) on your behalf.
- We do notuse your content to train any AI model, ours or anyone else’s.
- We do not use your content for advertising or for marketing Sleqk without your explicit, separate permission.
- When you generate a share link, the licence extends to the people you share the link with, for the narrow purpose of viewing or voting on that look.
- The licence ends when you delete the content, subject to the short technical retention windows described in our privacy policy.
You confirm that you have the right to upload the content you upload. That means: do not upload photos of other people without their consent, do not upload clothes or imagery that you do not have the right to use, and do not upload anything you would not be comfortable seeing again in your own account.
7. AI-generated content
The try-on images Sleqk creates are generated by AI. We label them as AI-generated in three ways:
- A visible, on-pixel watermark that reads “AI-generated — Sleqk” on every shared or exported render.
- A C2PA-signed provenance sidecar alongside each render.
- A clear in-product and in-web label at the point the render is shown.
The watermark and provenance marking are required of us under EU AI Act Art. 50, and of you if you share the render: you agree not to remove, obscure, alter, or pass off a Sleqk-generated image as a real photograph.
You own the renders of yourself. You do not own the underlying model, and you do not own anyone else’s depiction.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Sleqk for anything that is unlawful, dishonest, or harmful. In particular, do not use Sleqk to:
- Upload, generate, or share sexual imagery involving anyone under 18, or any image intended to sexualise another person without their consent.
- Impersonate another real person, or generate a try-on of someone else’s face or body without their written permission.
- Generate content to deceive, defraud, harass, intimidate, or defame.
- Generate deepfakes of public figures or election content.
- Probe, scan, or test the security of our systems except through a responsible-disclosure channel.
- Resell or sublicense access to our API or renders.
- Submit content you do not have the right to submit, including copyrighted product shots scraped from another brand’s site.
If we become aware of use that breaches these rules, we may remove the content, suspend the account, or in serious cases terminate the account. For serious cases involving child safety, we cooperate with the appropriate authorities.
9. Intellectual property
Sleqk, the name, the wordmark, the UI design, the prompt templates, and the underlying software are ours (or our licensors’). You get the licence described in section 5, nothing more.
Your content remains yours. AI-generated renders of you are yours to the extent that copyright law in your jurisdiction allows ownership of AI-generated material — this is an unsettled area, and we do not pretend otherwise.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Sleqk and close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if continuing to serve your account presents a safety or security risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.
On termination, the licence in section 5 ends and, subject to the retention windows in the privacy policy, your content is deleted.
11. Disclaimers
Sleqk is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do our best, but we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, that renders will always be rendered, or that AI styling suggestions will be right for every occasion. Suggestions are advisory — you, not Sleqk, decide what to wear.
Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for things that cannot lawfully be excluded: death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that UK or EU consumer law does not allow us to limit.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or purely economic losses (for example lost profits, lost opportunities, or damage to reputation).
- Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these terms in any 12-month period is limited to the total amount you paid us for Sleqk in that period, or £50, whichever is greater.
[LEGAL-REVIEW: consumer-friendliness check — liability caps in B2C contracts are subject to tighter scrutiny under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the EU Unfair Contract Terms Directive. Confirm the cap and carve-outs are enforceable.]
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms — for example to reflect new features, new legal requirements, or new pricing. If the change is material we will tell you in advance by email or in-app prompt. If you do not agree with the new terms, you can close your account before they take effect.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium.
We would much rather resolve any disagreement informally. Please write to support@sleqk.com first and give us a chance to make it right.
If that does not work, disputes go to the courts of Brussels, Belgium — but if you are a consumer resident in the EU, nothing in this section removes your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country, or your right to the protection of the consumer-protection rules of your country.
